Hillsyde Chic

Cockeysville, Maryland

Hoping to make better use of their existing square footage, the Tandys came to us looking for a style and layout refresh. We converted an underutilized front living room into an inviting, light-filled retreat. While anchored by traditional design principles, the space feels modern thanks to textures like lucite and metal, as well as fresh geometric prints. A neutral palette provides the ideal backdrop to allow art and accessories to pop. Sophisticated yet relaxed, this living room is an invitation to linger.

"I have turned to Stephanie and her team for their guidance on several design projects. The most recent was to turn an extra living room into a space that we would actually use. With very little direction from me, Stephanie created exactly what I was looking for — the room is not only beautiful, but also extremely functional and it has become my favorite room in the house. She is a master at combining the right amount of pattern, color and texture to create an environment that is both calming and luxurious. She was a delight to work with and I look forward to having her help on more projects!"
